Job Title: Java Developer with OpenShift

Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in OpenShift and cloud-native application deployment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java-based backend development, microservices architecture, containerization, and deploying applications on OpenShift platforms. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java.
• Build and support microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Deploy, configure, and manage applications on Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Develop containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments via OpenShift.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation and release automation.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams including architecture, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and maintain technical documentation.
• Implement security, monitoring, and logging best practices.

Required Skills

Must Have

• Strong experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17 or higher).
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift deployment and administration concepts.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Experience working with Git and version control systems.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
