Job Description: IT PMO – Operations
Location: GCC, Chennai
Experience Required: 8 – 12 years

Key Responsibilities
Program & Go-Live Management
· Own end-to-end project governance for automated warehouse go-live initiatives, from planning through stabilization.
· Define and manage integrated go-live plans covering WMS, TMS, automation systems, material handling equipment, and integrations.
· Lead cutover planning, mock go-lives, hypercare, and post go-live stabilization.
Technology & Systems Coordination
· Coordinate closely with Technology teams implementing WMS, TMS, OMS, middleware, and reporting systems.
· Ensure system readiness across functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
· Track dependencies across software development, configuration, and infrastructure readiness.
Automation, Engineering & Integration Alignment
· Work with Automation and Engineering teams deploying conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, robotics, PLC/SCADA, and other MHE systems.
· Ensure tight alignment between physical automation and digital systems through interface readiness and end-to-end testing.
· Manage system integrators and third-party vendors delivering automation and integration components.
PMO Governance & Reporting
· Establish PMO standards, RAID logs, milestone tracking, and executive dashboards.
· Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, budget, and go-live readiness.
· Drive decision-making forums, steering committees, and escalation management.
Operational Readiness & Change Management
· Coordinate operational readiness activities including SOP finalization, training, user access, and support models.
· Ensure smooth transition from project mode to operations and IT support teams.
· Support change management and communication plans for warehouse operations and stakeholders.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
· Proactively identify risks related to systems, automation, timelines, and operational impact.
· Ensure compliance with internal IT governance, security, and quality standards.
· Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement during hypercare.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
· PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Agile certifications preferred.
Experience
· 8–12 years of experience in IT PMO / Program Management, preferably within Supply Chain or Logistics.
· Proven experience managing warehouse automation go-lives involving WMS, TMS, and system integrations.
· Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and system integrators.
Technical Skills
· Strong understanding of WMS (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, etc.) and TMS platforms.
· Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies (conveyors, sorters, robotics, AS/RS).
· Knowledge of integration patterns, middleware, and end-to-end supply chain systems.
Soft Skills
· Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
· Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage high-pressure go-live environments and complex dependencies.
· Clear communication skills for executive and operational audiences.
